How to renovate the typical for Sofia one bedroom apartment in a building made of pre-fabricated concrete blocks, built in 1976 in a modern, cozy home, satisfying all the functional and aesthetic desires of a young, working couple? We have an answer to that question as well.We actually designed this apartment in 2019 for a member of our team and put our heart and soul into it. It is tailor-made - every key, every shelf, every cabinet and chair is the exact model with the exact look, in the most comfortable place and height for the specific, subjective habits of its users.We used mostly natural materials in a light color range, strict geometric and clean shapes and black accents that introduce a subtle touch of industrial design.The apartment consists of a corridor, a living room with a terrace, a separate kitchen, a bedroom and a bathroom. We used the second terrace, which was adjacent to the bedroom, to make a comfortable and spacious work area for two people. We kept the other spaces without any rearrangement in the original layout.We designed the furniture in such a way that, apart from visual unity, we also achieve maximum storage space, but also manage to keep enough free space to develop all the other necessary functions.The execution was completed in the first half of 2020, with the role of main contractor again falling to our partners at EQ Contract, with whose help we were able to achieve an end result that an architect and project manager would want for their own home.
